My recommendations for your family vacation
Welcome to Gästehaus Margarita! As your host in Raubling, I am often asked about the ideal day of skiing. My tip for families: Sudelfeld.
Why Sudelfeld? It is one of the largest connected ski areas in Germany and is also ideal for families with children. The adventure park and the Action World with fun slope are particularly popular with our younger guests. Thanks to the modern six-seater chairlifts with heated seats, long waiting times and cold feet are a thing of the past.
For beginners in ski mountaineering, there is a hut evening every Wednesday on the Walleralm or Speckalm. From there, marked trails lead to the winter wonderland of Sudelfeld.
Journey - Fast and stress-free
From our house in Raubling you can reach the ski resort via Brannenburg in just 25 minutes. This short journey saves time and hassle in the morning and allows you to be the first at the cable car.
Culinary delights - Refreshments after a day on the slopes
For lunch, I recommend the rustic Walleralm. After an active day, return to our comfortable family rooms in Raubling. Enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the slopes - ideal for recharging your batteries for the next day.
There are great dinner options near the Margarita guesthouse:
Bayrischzeller Post: Here you'll find classic Bavarian cuisine that even kids will enjoy (dumplings are a must!).
Pizzeria in town: For those who get hungry quickly, there is a very good pizzeria right next to the guesthouse – often a lifesaver when the kids are particularly tired after being out in the fresh air.
Self-catering: Thanks to the fully equipped guest kitchen in the guesthouse, you can easily prepare your own snacks in the evening.
