Why you can sleep peacefully with us

At our guesthouse Margarita, your well-being is our top priority. We strive to make your stay as relaxing as possible, which includes rest for your body and rest for your mind.

That's why we focused on two natural treasures when furnishing our guest rooms: Swiss pine wood and merino wool.

The power of the Swiss pine – the “Queen of the Alps”

Our bedroom furniture was individually made from solid Swiss pine wood. Swiss pine grows in extreme conditions in the high mountains and retains this resistance in its wood.

  • Soothing scent: The essential oils contained (especially pinosylvin) emit a subtle woody scent that has been shown to reduce heart rate.

  • Improved regeneration: In a room made of Swiss pine wood, the heart saves up to 3,500 beats per day – that’s about an hour of cardiac activity. You wake up more refreshed in the morning.

  • Natural protection: Scots pine has antibacterial properties and naturally repels pests such as moths.

Pure sleeping comfort with merino wool filling

To match the handmade wooden furniture, we chose high-quality merino wool filling for our bedding.

  • Optimal temperature regulation: Merino wool is a true high-tech material from nature. It warms in winter and cools in summer by wicking moisture away from the body before it even forms. This ensures a permanently dry and comfortable sleeping environment under the duvet.

  • Ideal for allergy sufferers: Merino wool is naturally hypoallergenic and self-cleaning. Because it does not retain moisture, dust mites cannot breed in it.

  • Soft and safe: The fine fibers don't scratch, but gently conform - for a feeling of security all night long.

Come, take a deep breath and enjoy the quality sleep you can only find where nature is at home.

We look forward to your visit.

Alex and Moni
